We deliver exceptional insurance and financial products and services to our customers. We provide a quality work environment and hire those who share our values of integrity, honesty and service to the community. 

 

History

As Middle Peninsula Insurance begins its second century of service, we look to the past and our founding principles to carry us forward. The agency was founded in 1908 by Albert Johnson. Mr. Johnson's goal was to serve his community by providing insurance products that fit his clients' needs. He wasn't looking to make a fortune – just to serve his community as best he could.

The agency grew in size and reputation throughout the years, and in 1963, Edward P. Harrow, Sr. purchased the firm. He wanted to build on the original values put forth by Mr. Johnson – to focus on the customers' needs and expectations and deliver excellent insurance protection. He worked hard to build strong partnerships with insurance carriers so he could offer exceptional value to his customers.

The name of the agency changed to Middle Peninsula Insurance and quickly gained a reputation for honest, caring service. It is a reputation that has endured since then and will guide us in the future.

Today, Middle Peninsula has three offices in Virginia and employs 18 professionals. We invite you to visit us at any of our offices. We're happy to serve all your insurance and financial needs.
